Event: Teesside NYE Drift Day
31 December 2011, 6:30AM
I awake to the sound of crickets, I’m not too sure where I am however I know I’m not in my bed and I think I’m in some weird dream…. I soon break out of this when I realise its New Years Eve, I’m at Jamie’s house and the crickets are the alarm on my phone. The reason I’m at Jamie’s is we are about to make the 260 odd mile round trip to cover a drift day at Teesside’s karting track.
Arriving just after 10:00am the action on track had already begun, so I’ll jump straight to the photo’s…

This was my first ever attempt at filming and editing a film! I enjoyed the day, a nice professionally run track split into 2 smaller tracks but they kept the balance of professionalism and fun perfect!
It looked like seat time heaven!

Event: 100 Drifters of December Pt 1
Justin dropped this awesome video of the event 100 drifters of December to us and it looks absolutely great! Seems even thousands of miles away accross the pond from the UK the vibes are the same at grass roots events.

I wasn’t here since the start but I’ve been up here long enough.
The east coast of the U.S. has tons of tracks… but this little one is something special for every resident in State College that enjoys a little tire smoke at The Oval on sunday afternoons.

Slide Motorsport: Santa Pod DWYB
I filled up the mx5 and headed down to Podington to meet Adam Simmons (R33), Matt Stevenson (1jz 350z) and Jason Clark (Rx7) It was a foggy start to the morning which left me with high expectations for the weather to be pretty good once the sun had burnt through.
